"I highly recommend The River to anyone!"
Stumbled on this place today - unfortunately it's our last day in Victoria Falls. Otherwise we would be back every day and most nights. It's a bright, clean friendly oasis in the turmoil around The Elephant Walk. The staff is courteous, efficient and enthusiastic. The food is really good, the sauces are outrageously tasty, and the beers are amazing. Plus one of the co-owners is a fellow skier.

Saw the sign from the street; got drawn in by the "brewing"-part. Boy am I glad we did: a delightfully friendly and helpful crew served us tasty food (their home-made sauces are to die for), coupled with exquisite craft beers. Particularly liked the IPA and porter, but honestly: they're all refreshingly tasteful. Really hope this place takes off - it certainly deserves to!

Great food, awesome beer, pretty amazing space! The staff were very nice and smiley and made us feel very welcomed. Particular shutout to Thembi who went out of her way to help us find a store we were looking for. She was very friendly. This place is definitely worth a visit (or 2 - like in our case!)
